Get under the hood with DWS! Empower yourself with some basic vehicle maintenance know-how. We’ll cover topics like health and safety, repairing and changing tires, dealing with batteries, diagnostics, and more!

With thanks to Parks Canada for providing the space, this free workshop will take place in the parking lot beside the Palace Grand Theatre on the corner of Second Avenue and King Street on Saturday, September 27th from 1 to 5 pm. Participants will be provided with safety glasses and gloves. Please dress for the weather, and wear sturdy footwear.

Accessibility information: The workshop will take place outdoors, in an open, flat, hard-packed dirt parking lot. There will be limited seating available. We will have access to the YOOP Hall/Healthy Families, Healthy Babies for washrooms. There is a ramp into the building and there are accessible washrooms inside.
